Why Do You Need a Strong Immune System? Seems like almost every week there is a new virus, a killer bacteria, a new disease announced by WHO or the medical establishment.
The usual routine of most people is to rush to the doctor or ER for the latest pill or shot…hoping some new drug or medication will take care of it. It just ain’t going to happen folks!
Sure, you may find some temporary relief. In fact, you may even think you are well. But, I can almost guarantee that little bug, or germ, is still there in your body somewhere, just waiting for the next chance to surface.
All of us are carriers of various diseases and germs. Your body has cancer cells, staph viruses, the flu virus, and many others. The reason they don’t bother you is because of your immune system.
Here are a few Health Wealth Tips to help improve your immune system.
Eat a Good Diet. Avoid processed foods as much as possible. Eat plenty of fresh raw fruits and veggies. Eat home grown, organic foods as much as you can. Our food system is so polluted with chemical toxins, most farmlands are overloaded with chemical fertilizers and herbicides that the food has lost much of its nutritional value. Our meat supply is so full of growth hormones and antibiotics that it has affected the health of our children.
Find a good farmers market or a local farmer that would sell you fresh fruits and vegetables and range fed meats.
Eat Some Fermented Foods Every Day. Fresh yogurt, kraut, fresh buttermilk will add friendly bacteria to your digestive system. You can find some excellent herbal recipes to boost your immune system by searching online or contact me at the link below, and I would be glad to forward you a list of my favorite immune boosting recipes and recommend some high quality food supplements you should be taking.
Never buy anything that says ‘sugar free’ or ‘fat free’. That is another lie of the media commercials.
Exercise – We have become such a nation of couch potatoes, channel flippers, computer freaks, that we fail to keep the blood circulating through lack of exercise. Is it any wonder that so many people are fat!
It doesn’t matter what kind of exercise. Just do something every day that will keep the heart pumping strong, the lungs breathing good. Ride a bike, go for a power walk, swimming… what ever you enjoy doing.
Sunshine – Get some sunshine every day that you can. No sunglasses, no sunscreen, just a few minutes of fresh air and sun. Your eyes need it. Your skin needs it to convert the cholesterol under your skin to Vitamin D. Don’t believe the media ads about ‘sunscreens’.
Rest – Ben Franklin is credited with saying, ‘Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.’ There is much truth in the saying. Two hours of sleep before midnight is worth more that 4 hours after midnight.
